Bandharwals traditionally hang above doorways.
They are decorative symbols of good luck meant to welcome everyone who passes through.
Made by a women's cooperative in North India.
The four hidden pockets in the Bandharwals are safe-keepers for keys, money, jewelry or letters. Tiny strands of Prosperity Hens hang between the pockets.
Embellished with sequins, each Bandharwal is about 35" wide.
Assorted colors.
Sizing varies slightly, as they are handmade.
Collections: Feathered + String + Cotton + Organza Curtains
